In Campaign’s October 8, 2017 issue, we reported wrongly that Abdulkader ‘Abed’ Bibi, chief marketing officer at Meraas, had been dismissed by the Dubai developer.
We would like to clarify that Bibi was not dismissed, but resigned after a successful two years and one month in his role. During that time he oversaw a successful and wide-ranging corporate rebrand and the announcement of numerous developments including the launch of Dubai Harbour and four hotel brands and the expansion of Meraas’s successful Last Exit food truck concept.
Having fulfilled his remit at Meraas, Bibi stepped down voluntarily.
We apologise for the error and wish Abed Bibi all the best for his future projects.
