Nomads wins Jotun creative account

Amsterdam-headquartered agency Nomads has been named the global agency of record for Jotun Powder Coatings. The agency will lead global brand strategy and creative for the division, which is globally headquartered in Dubai. Jotun Powder Coatings is one of the world’s leading producers and suppliers of powder coatings with over 36 production facilities. It has 70 per cent market share in the Gulf Cooperation Council.

“Nomads impressed us with their unorthodox approach both strategically and creatively,” said Serena Gonsalves, marketing communications manager for Jotun. “We are excited to work together to bring Jotun Powder Coatings centre stage globally as the creative trendsetter and technological innovator in our industry.”

The agency has been busy strengthening its team in Dubai. Hol and senior copywriter Adam Fierman joined in September with the agency recently appointing Tom Warden as senior innovation strategist. Mani du Plessis has also joined from Ogilvy & Mather as an account director
