Geometry Global Dubai has won the region’s first ever grand prix at Cannes.
The agency picked up the award in the product design category thanks to its work for ‘The lucky Iron Fish Project’, which is dedicated to leading the fight against iron deficiency in Cambodia and around the world. Introduced last year, the product design category had only eight winners. Geometry is part of Memac Ogilvy.
The only other regional awards picked up during this evening’s ceremony at the Palais des Festivals went to Leo Burnett Beirut, which took home a silver and a bronze for Johnnie Walker’s ‘Keep the flame alive’ in the cyber category. There were no regional winners in radio or design.
The next awards show is on Friday, when the innovation and creative data winners will be announced.
